• Check-in is from 3pm on the day of arrival. Guests are asked to check-out by 10am on the day of departure.
• We expect our guests to pay a Good Housekeeping Bond of £100 payable direct to our bank at least 7 days prior to check-in. This is refundable within 48 hours of check-out provided that our Good Housekeeping rules have been kept. We ask that all used beds are stripped, all used towels, robes etc are separated ready for washing and that the cottage is left in a clean and tidy condition.
• The cottages are cleaned and carefully checked between each let.
• Heating and lighting is included in the price.
• All bedding, towels, robes for adults, tea towels, dishwasher pods are provided
• All breakages must be reported and either replaced or paid for at the end of the stay.
• The owners reserve the right to retain the Good Housekeeping bond and if necessary to seek compensation for any damage discovered after the guests have left.
• The accommodation is only for the use of the persons shown on the booking form. No letting or sub-letting is allowed. Occupancy must not exceed that stated for any reason.
• In exceptional circumstances, the owners have the right of access to the properties at any time during the let.
• All cottage interiors are NO smoking. Guests are requested to refrain from smoking outside and that should they do so, all cigarette butts are disposed of in a bin. We do not provide ashtrays and take a dim view of our plant pots being used for this purpose.
• The owners regret that they cannot be held responsible for any accident that occurs whilst on site.
• The owners will not accept responsibility for loss or damage to any luggage, bicycles, pushchairs, cars or their contents.
• If the guests have any problems with the accommodation then they are to contact the owners immediately so the problem can be resolved.
• The owners reserve the right to terminate the booking without refund if the behaviour of any guest is considered unacceptable, or the number of occupants exceeds that stated on booking.
• Confirmation of your booking will be made once the £100 deposit is received.
• Balance of payment is due six weeks before the arrival date. An Email reminder will be sent.
• All deposits are non-refundable.
• Holiday insurance is recommended but not a mandatory requirement for booking the properties. However no money can be refunded if you cancel as you are legally bound to pay for a holiday you cancel.
• We are happy to accept up to two well behaved and house-trained dogs with each booking, provided owners observe our house rules. No puppies under 12 months. No dogs are allowed on beds or furniture, dogs must not be left unattended in the cottage at any time and absolutely no dogs are allowed in the hot tub.
• We want your stay to be comfortable and memorable. If you have a problem, please tell us. If you like us, please tell your friends

Welsh Holiday Cottages - Ceredigion

Oak, Ash and Cherry Cottages, named for the type of wood used to construct their handmade kitchens, were created from the farm’s original 18th century cow byre. Now tastefully converted to a high standard the old cow shed has been transformed into three, two bedroomed, well appointed cottages, suitable for people of all ages.

Cherry Cottage has its own exclusive master spa, housed within a log cabin and situated on a raised cobbled terrace with views of the Preseli Hills. Ash & Oak Cottages have their own private hot tubs situated in a fenced patio garden.

Young people from the age of 12 are welcome here at Blaenwenllan Cottages but due to the garden setting we do not have playground facilities or outdoor spaces for ball games. Step through the front door of any cottage and you will immediately enter a haven of comfort, with squashy sofas and comfortable beds.

From 2025 we are pleased to announce the addition of walks in our own woodland where peace and quiet can be enjoyed whilst walking on the mown paths or sitting on one of the two benches provided for your relaxation. The area is fully fenced and you can safely let your dog explore off the lead whilst you engage in bird watching or just enjoying the ambiance of our lovely woods.

The kitchens have everything you need to cook anything from a speedy fry-up to a family feast. Each cottage has been designed and equipped to be your holiday home from home. We provide all the necessities at no charge, on request, so you don't have to bring it all with you.

We hope we have thought of everything – so you don’t have to!

Situated in the hamlet of Bryngwenith in Ceredigion with its beautiful Georgian Chapel, guests can enjoy the peace and quiet of rural living whilst staying only a couple of miles away from historic Newcastle Emlyn. Local history tells us that this quaint old town is the place where the last dragon in Wales was slain. It is believed that the dragon will one day return, so children need to keep a good look out when visiting the old Castle! The town has a good selection of shops, pubs, cafes, takeaways and a hotel. It still holds a sheep market every week on a Thursday.

Standing in a beautiful garden setting the three cottages are furnished in a contemporary country-cottage style with with a mix of oak and pine furniture. Each is equipped with an electric ceramic hob cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. For food prep there is a rather nice double width kitchen trolley. If needed more designated freezer space is available in the separate laundry room. Furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs the living areas invite guests to relax and unwind. There is a TV with freeview and DVD player and feature fireplace. Upstairs there is a double and a twin bedroom with a shower room. Outside, through the French Doors, each cottage has a hot tub in a private patio area with garden furniture. Oak cottage has a conservatory with cane furniture.

Washing bikes or dirty boots is no problem. We have an area for that just outside the barn and a drying area in the laundry room for coats as well. Bikes and bulky equipment can be safely stored in our barn. For the car there is ample parking on site.

We want your stay with us to be as comfortable and stress free as possible. On arrival we provide a Welcome Pack consisting of tea, coffee, bread, jam, some eggs and biscuits. We understand that shopping is not necessarily high on your list of priorities, so why not book a home delivery via Tesco?

All bedding and towels, heating and lighting is included in the price. We hope we have thought of everything to make your stay with us as happy and relaxing as possible.
